2025 Summer Internship: Intern, IT

St. Louis CITY SC is looking to take on an IT intern for the summer of 2025 to gain experience working in and learning about the IT operations of a new, professional sports franchise and assist in the day to day tasks necessary to support our club, our employees, and our fans. This position will have a wide variety of opportunities to work in different aspects of IT including traditional office-based responsibilities and supporting game day operations at CITYPARK downtown.

Job Duties:

• Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and stadium systems
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
• Organize and maintain IT resources
• Participate in the deployment of new hardware and/or applications
• Research technology solutions and pricing as required
• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Lend IT support in areas such as: end user support, troubleshooting, hardware inventory, game day operations, and other needs as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong passion for sports, particularly soccer, and a deep understanding of fan engagement in the digital age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Basic understanding of product management principles and methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with digital platforms, web technologies, and mobile applications.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
