Position Overview:

The Estate Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple high-end residential estates, ensuring that each property is maintained to the highest standards. This individual will act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and service providers, coordinating all aspects of estate management from routine maintenance to large-scale renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of luxury estate management, with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Past construction experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Property Maintenance & Upkeep: Oversee the general maintenance of the estate, including managing routine cleaning, landscaping, and repairs. Ensure the property remains in pristine condition at all times. Oversee items from small repairs to small renovations.
• Regular Home Inspections: Create personalized inspection reports for each home. Perform visual and diagnostic home inspections, noting all maintenance items that require follow-up.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for routine maintenance, special projects, and one-off requests. Ensure that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standard.
• Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to their requests and ensuring all aspects of their estate are handled with discretion and care. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism. Share regular home inspection and annual maintenance reports with each client.
• Hurricane Preparation: Coordinate the moving of exterior furniture and securing exterior fixtures, placement of sand bags or flood panels and storm shutters, generator maintenance, secure areas of potential water intrusion, document potential damage after the storm, roof inspections, etc.
• Security & Safety: Ensure the property is secure by managing surveillance systems, alarm systems, and coordinating security personnel. Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary protocols.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of high-end home maintenance, including plumbing, electrical systems, audio-visual systems, pool systems, HVAC, and landscaping.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, contractors, and vendors simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, staff, and service providers.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to anticipate needs and manage day-to-day operations efficiently.
• High level of discretion and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
• Flexibility as needed to accommodate clients’ schedules.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with luxury home automation systems and smart home technology.
• Construction experience
• Relevant certifications in estate management, property management, or hospitality management.
