At Gifford TV & Applaince, we are a team of appliance installation professionals who are dedicated to providing our customers with a seamless installation experience. We are looking for an appliance installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a variety of appliances, including washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and ovens. He or she will be responsible for ensuring that all appliances are installed properly and in a timely manner. The most successful appliance installer will be able to work independently and be detail-oriented.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To install, maintain, and repair a variety of appliances in both residential and commercial settings
  • To ensure that all work is performed in accordance with manufacturers specifications and local building codes
  • To provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times
  • To arrive to appointments on time and prepared with all necessary tools and parts
  • To diagnose problems quickly and accurately and provide customers with cost-effective solutions
  • To keep up to date on new products and installation techniques through ongoing training
  • To properly document all work performed and maintain accurate records of time, materials, and invoices
  • To upsell customers on extended warranties and maintenance plans when appropriate
  • To cross-sell other services offered by the company when applicable
  • To safely operate a company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record
  • To adhere to all safety regulations while on the job
  • To perform physical labor as required, including lifting heavy appliances and climbing ladders
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ pounds) and climb ladders
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating
  • Exceptional customer service skills
