RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

  • Assist asset managers with a portfolio of 40+ senior housing assets, maintaining internal asset valuation models, weekly/monthly/quarterly platform and asset level reporting, oversight of third party service providers, capital plan oversight, business plan execution and disposition of assets
  • Perform and maintain asset level business plan cash flow modeling and Re-buy analysis across the platform
  • Lead and assist various forms of presentation style formats for internal distributions via Harvesting memos, valuation approvals, and other materials for investment committees
  • Assist internal stakeholders with asset disposition efforts including: contract negotiation, writing investment committee memorandums, presenting to investment committee, finalizing disposition models, calculating waterfall returns, transaction management and closing
  • Conduct in depth market and submarket review of market and industry trends to help formulate asset strategy
  • Interface with external parties including: operating partners, PMCs, brokers, attorneys and other third party vendors; and internal stakeholders including: legal, accounting, compliance and investment partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background - finance, real estate, accounting or math background preferred
  • Real estate or banking experience preferred
  • Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
  • Must have advanced level MS Office Excel experience plus advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Self-motivated with growth mindset
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team setting
