Job Summary:The Warehouse Manager will oversee and lead warehouse operations, including supervising personnel and managing material handling activities. Key responsibilities include shipping and receiving functions, inventory control, cycle counts, transportation scheduling, and material storage. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for budget management, specifically labor and transportation costs.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in mid-large manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • High School Diploma required; an Associates degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Extensive background in product distribution and logistics, covering both raw materials and finished products.
  • Proficiency in analyzing routing and delivery costs.
  • Negotiation experience related to inbound and outbound freight, as well as truck lease costs.
  • Familiarity with managing food products, including refrigerated, frozen, and ambient temperature items, considering shelf life, FIFO (first in, first out), and food safety compliance.
  • SQF (Safe Quality Food) experience in inventory controls and food safety practices is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in inventory control, including cycle counting.

  1. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a valuable asset.
  2. Ability to multitask effectively, work under pressure, and adapt to rapidly changing priorities across multiple projects.
  3. Flexibility to oversee and operate at a multi-company level.
  4. Demonstrated follow-through, integrity, and sound judgment.
