Job Description


This position is remote, but some travel is required.

Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly motivated, energetic individual equally capable of working independently or in team settings while seeking grant opportunities; researching for and writing grant applications, letters of intent, and other written correspondence; and completing a plethora of grant components such as white papers, requests for proposals/qualifications, etc. The successful candidate will facilitate meetings, seminars and workshops on the grant writing process and interact with external partners.

Required Qualifications

Education

• A bachelor's degree is required.

Experience

• Strong written and oral communications and research skills are a must.
• The ability to work write clearly and compellingly across a variety of subject areas and on several projects at once on tight deadlines;
• Program design and development experience;
• Meeting facilitation skills;
• Research expertise in both qualitative and quantitative data;
• The ability to understand technical writing, deadlines, and regulations and convey them to team members;
• Creative problem-solving abilities; and
• Possession of a professional, team-oriented mentality

Preferred Qualifications

Education

Experience

• Preferred skills for this position include previous experience in grant writing, particularly for the National Science Foundation and/or National Institute of Health; research; and budgeting.
