Summary

Lil' Wonders Child Care, LLC is currently seeking a teacher who is responsible for creating a caring, safe, and positive learning environment. Must be dependable, flexible, and LOVE working with children. Excellent opportunity to be part of a great team and to enjoy giggles.

We have full-time and part-time positions available. Experience in child care preferred, but willing to train the right applicant.

Duties

Teacher - Job Description
Purpose: Provide a warm and nurturing environment in which the children can grow physically, emotionally and intellectually.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide the children with a safe, loving and nurturing environment. 
2. Meet the children's needs in all areas of physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
3. Prepare weekly lesson plans.
4. Carry out appropriate and positive discipline.
5. To see that the program goals are implemented.
6. To function and help build a supportive team.
7. Maintain a room arrangement that is safe, inviting, and interesting.
8. Be sensitive and responsive to parents and to act as a resource person for them. 
9. Keep appropriate record of children's attendance and time sheets. 
10. Attend trainings and monthly staff meetings.
11. Maintain confidentiality.
12. Meet all applicable licensing regulations.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate would have classes in early childhood eduction or experience in working in child care, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
