STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Pittsburgh, PA (Fully Onsite)
$60,000- $70,000

OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Conduct cost analysis, focusing on product and manufacturing costs, as well as overhead expenses.
• Staff Accountant manages daily labor and cost transactions to ensure accurate financial records.
• Perform inventory analysis in collaboration with the plant manager, including record-keeping and optimization of inventory processes.
• Facilitate check runs and provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Staff Accountant assists in implementing reports and improving inventory processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Highly preferred)
• Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably with exposure to cost analysis and inventory management
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
