This role consists of client implementations, project work and assisting the help desk team where needed.
* Familiar with MAC and Windows operating systems
* Windows server 2012 - 2019, Active Directory, Exchange and O365
* Diagnoses and resolves customer/end user inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, e-mail, and remote tools
* Familiar with various brands of network equipment
* Familiar with various brands of Firewalls
* Work onsite with customer for issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
* Effectively communicates customer/end user issues and concerns to all applicable internal staff members.
* Maintain working knowledge and expertise of products and/or services.
* Background check will be performed
Back Bay Networks is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and we are seeking an experienced, senior systems administrator to join our team. This role is for someone who has 5+ years of experience, preferably in the MSP space, as a project engineer, vCIO, senior help desk engineer, and/or technical account manager. We are looking for a professional who can take lead on our implementation and migration projects including but not limited to servers, storage, firewalls, networking equipment, and MS365 migrations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and can self-manage various tasks and projects at the same time while working as part of our team.
