Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting operations of the company's accounting department.
• Reconcile accounts and finalize financial reports for management review.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve account issues.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of audits.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll tax reconciliations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience in Agriculture, Construction, or Manufacture industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
