About the Job:

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

As a Senior Program Manager on the Clean Energy and Power team within Google Global Networking and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing communications and engagement to advance Google’s strategic goals for energy. You will drive public and community relations campaigns to convey Google’s positive global and local impact, manage work-streams with internal and external partners, develop talking points and narrative, and create compelling multimedia content for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the energy leadership team, cross-functional internal partners, and external consultants to create, manage, and execute strategic communications and public engagement campaigns.
  • Serve as the team’s primary cross-functional liaison with partners, Economic Community Development, Sustainability, and Communication teams to ensure narrative and content alignment, branding, and delivery.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and projects to create compelling content that conveys Google’s positive global and local impact (e.g., white papers and reports, videos, blog posts and op-eds, website copy, event proposals, and social media posts).
  • Provide counsel and support to senior executives on media engagement, external thought leadership opportunities, and internal communications, including preparing speeches, presentations, and materials to educate leadership on energy initiatives, needs, and impact.

Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
