Job Description

Associate’s degree is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within 24 months of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Maintaining and repairing the facility’s structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC, the Senior Advanced Maintenance Technician will have the opportunity to help our nation’s heroes make a true impact. You’ll perform skilled trades work, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. You’ll work from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches to improve our facility. We’ll depend on you to resolve and respond to office and facility-related issues and emergencies. What you’ll experience: Technologies that aren’t just top-notch, they’re often classified A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what’s next Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it’s discovered What you bring to the table: Associate’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Displays distinct high-performance attributes and demonstrates superior communication and collaborative skills consistent with the expectations for the position Skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways All work performed in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations Ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion Perform trouble shooting and repairs on production equipment and facilities Prepares for use, performs operational checks, inspections and completes repairs on electronic equipment. Includes programmable controls, numeric controls, power supplies, drives, computer driven equipment and associated software, etc Requests and withdraws from inventory and replaces defective or worn parts. Makes all necessary adjustments for the proper operation of the equipment Demonstrates the ability to prevent equipment down time through observation, communications with production staff and proactive problem solving Properly communicates and documents all work performed Assists all maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting Complies with company policies and procedures, safety, quality, operational procedures, adhering to state and federal regulations Must be willing to work some weekends and/or varied shifts Actively participates in process improvements Performs all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager What sets you apart: Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task Commitment to ongoing professional development Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success Two years of electronic maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Certified/Licensed in industrial electrical repair and installation Ability to obtain secret clearance Completed Arc Flash training Applies a working knowledge of applicable codes and ordinances Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to repair equipment with higher-level electrical problems Proficient in PLC operation, programming, and troubleshooting Ability to utilize various control software packages used on machinery and equipment Strong background in electro-mechanical-pneumatic process operation and repair Must be resourceful and apply critical thinking skills in problem solving Skilled in the use of hand and power tools Principles of mechanics (coupling, shaft alignment, bearings, gears and lubrication) Ability to operate powered industrial mobile equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, carts, etc.) Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, schematics, circuit diagrams, instructions and procedures Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision Physical Requirements: Prolonged standing with bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling Hand dexterity and strength Must be able to lift 40 pounds while utilizing correct lifting techniques and applicable safe work practices This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $33.34 - USD $35.76 /Hr.
