Ranch Hand Worker

PeopleReady of Moorpark, CA is now hiring Ranch Hand Workers! As a Ranch Hand Worker, you will do a variety of work in different industries. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. As a Ranch Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to the maintenance and operation of our ranch. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and a love for working outdoors. Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17.00 / Hour

What you'll be doing as a Ranch Hand Worker:

• Feed animals hay and grain
• Put on fly masks, sheets, etc. depending on weather
• Muck stalls
• Dump manure
• Sweep aisle and clean drains
• Check waterers inside and outside
• Clean out horse sheds in pastures
• Thorough cleaning / dusting of equine barns
• Arena maintenance
• Following chore checklists (AM Chores, PM Chores, Weekly Chores)
• Other duties as assigned

Available shifts:

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Previous experience working on a farm or ranch is preferred
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently such a mowers, weed whackers, and some weeding
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
• Basic math skills for measuring feed quantities or calculating medication dosages
• Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
