The Coordinator ensures standardization of policies across Tennessee and Virginia labs, stays updated on regulatory changes, and develops new protocols. They also manage State Exemptions and serve as a resource for patient care areas and inspectors. A minimum of four years in a hospital lab is required, along with a valid Medical Technologist license. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.
