Job Description

PHARMACY DELIVERY CLERK

SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of medications to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading vehicle and providing exceptional customer service to our patients. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn. MANAGER: Pharmacy Inventory & Compliance Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform medication deliveries. Help with clerk type activities at the pharmacy, such as running the register, and bagging medications. Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods. Pack and load products onto vehicle according to company's specifications. Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes. Maintain ongoing communication with pharmacy. Unload goods as per client specifications. Review deliveries with customers to ensure accuracy of orders. Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Manager Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Clean driving record. Must be pre-approved by our insurance agency by investigating his/her Motor Vehicle Report. Clean criminal background check. High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong customer service skills Must possess a positive and professional attitude LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Maintain a Valid Ohio Driver License during employment.

COMPLIANCE :

The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate. Stress level can be high at times.
