Job Description

Wilcox is currently seeking a full-time Packout Associate to work first shift Monday through Friday. The Packout Associate performs a variety of warehouse activities including, but not limited to packing out, receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, printing and organizing paperwork all with minimal supervision. The Packout Associate will interact daily with all levels of the organization.  

Roles and Responsibilities

• Follows company packing procedures and standards to ensure accurate packing, labeling & sealing of product.
• Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic and driven environment.
• Works at different stations as production requires.
• Uses a handheld scanner and ERP system for transactions.
• Ensures product orders are packed and moved carefully and accurately.
• Communicates any discrepancies with area supervisor.
• Ships all products as noted on packing documents.
• Ensures that customer orders are verified and closed in the system.
• Wraps & labels skids, prepares & packs finished goods.
• Verifies counts and paperwork before receiving incoming material.
• Performs daily cycle counting and reconciliation.
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a professional manner to maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and management.
• Adheres to safe work practices and complies with all Company policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Related experience preferred.
• ERP/MRP experience a plus (SAP)
• Organized and detail oriented. 
• Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter who works well under minimal supervision.
• Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities between managers in accordance with their priority.
• Must be able to work overtime, when necessary.
• Regular on-site attendance is a necessary function of this position.

Physical Requirements
Standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, lifting, and carrying up to 40 pounds independently (up to 60 pounds as team lift), reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, across various distances, are generally required to perform the functions of this position.

Compensation offered may vary depending upon job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
