FreshTake Grocery is looking for a Meat Cutter to join our meat department. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly cutting, preparing, and packaging a variety of meats to ensure the highest standards of freshness, quality, and presentation. We are seeking a team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and who is passionate about customer satisfaction and food safety.

• Cut, trim, and prepare fresh meat products according to company standards and customer preferences.
• Ensure the quality, freshness, and proper presentation of all meat items.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting with special meat orders.
• Follow food safety regulations and sanitation procedures, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Stock and display meat products according to merchandising plans.
• Safely operate meat-cutting equipment, including slicers, grinders, and saws.
• Assist in managing inventory, rotating stock, and receiving deliveries.
• Collaborate with the Meat Department Manager to meet department goals and standards.

This position requires flexibility, with the ability to work weekends, days, evenings, and holidays as needed.

• Previous experience as a meat cutter or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of various meat cuts, trimming techniques, and proper meat handling.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a refrigerated environment for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
