Job Details ***Must be willing to work 3rd Shift - (10pm - 6:30am)***
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Operations Supervisor. This role is vital to our Manufacturing Facility, where you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing processes, ensuring that our products are created with efficiency and quality. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a hands-on approach and a strong understanding of a fast-paced manufacturing industry.
As an Operations Supervisor, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the manufacturing team.
2. Ensuring that all manufacturing operations such as cutting, drilling, tapping, assembling, and packing are carried out efficiently and effectively.
3. Implementing and maintaining Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies to improve process efficiency and reduce waste.
4. Training, coaching, and mentoring team members to enhance their performance and development.
5. Ensuring that all operations comply with safety and quality standards.
6. Developing and implementing operational improvements, including setting performance goals and meeting targets.
7. Collaborating with other departments to ensure operational excellence.
8. Monitoring resources to meet production targets.
Qualifications:
1. At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with prior supervisory or leadership experience.
2. Proven experience in manufacturing operations process such as cutting, drilling, tapping, assembling, and packing.
3. Strong knowledge and experience with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
4. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
5. Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
6. Bilingual with English and Spanish is a plus.
