United Talent is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer in Charleston This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the hotel meets safety and operational standards.
• Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine preventive maintenance to maintain the efficiency and longevity of hotel equipment.
• Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components.
• Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to emergency situations, such as power outages or urgent repair needs.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Guest Requests: Address and resolve guest maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure all rooms and facilities are in perfect working order for guest satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and staff.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Certifications: HVAC or OSHA certifications are a plus.

Schedule:

• Regular Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  Three additional days per week: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Training Schedule: During the training phase, the schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to familiarize you with the building and processes.
