About the job Low Voltage Technician


As a Low Voltage Technician at Talent Source, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage systems to ensure the efficient operation of electrical equipment and systems. Below are the key responsibilities and requirements for this position:

• Perform cable pulling, wiring, and termination according to industry standards and specifications.
• Test and commission low voltage systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and assistance to clients and end-users as needed.
• Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, service reports, and equipment inventory.
• Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices in low voltage systems.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a low voltage technician or in a related field.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems, components, and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Certification or training in low voltage systems preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to lift and carry equipment and work in various environments.
