Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for our properties, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants while effectively promoting our brand and services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Property Showings: Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting features and benefits while addressing questions and concerns.

- Lead Generation: Actively seek out new leasing opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing strategies.

- Application Processing: Review and process rental applications, conducting background checks and verifying tenant qualifications in compliance with company policies and fair housing laws.

- Lease Preparation: Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

- Tenant Relations: Maintain positive relationships with current tenants, addressing inquiries and issues promptly to ensure tenant satisfaction.

- Market Research: Stay informed about local market trends, rental rates, and competitor offerings to effectively position properties.

- Marketing Efforts: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement advertising campaigns to attract potential tenants.

- Property Maintenance Coordination: Communicate with maintenance staff to ensure properties are well-maintained and promptly address any tenant issues.

- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, tenant communications, and property availability, providing regular updates to management.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in real estate, business, or a related field is a plus.

- Previous experience as a leasing agent or in a customer service role is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of real estate laws and regulations, particularly fair housing laws.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Valid real estate license is preferred but not mandatory.
