Knitting Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Location: Greensboro, NC

Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Keep machines running at max. efficiency and monitor raw materials running into the machines. 20-minute checks at a minimum are required on each machine that is running.
• Enforce visual findings for preventative maintenance or repair work. Follow all work instructions and quality system processes and procedures. Adhere and enforce safety policies
• Identify and record and problems related to product, process or quality systems. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities related to product, process and/or the system. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
• Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. Verify the implementation of solutions
• Other duties as assigned

List Qualification or Requirements:

• Previous knitting machine experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Good vision and manual dexterity. Ability to bend, sit, twist and stoop for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively through the course of the shift
