Position Summary

A Producer is a licensed insurance sales representative with Commercial trucking or Personal Auto sales experience.

As a Producer, this role will be part of a team focused on helping grow the product line's revenue by offering products that respond to the requests and needs of prospects and current customers who need insurance. The Producer works under the supervision of the Agency Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes and close sales.
• Educate all customers on cross and up-sell opportunities, including other agency products.
• Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain high client retention and product loyalty.
• Grow sales revenue using phone, email, and potential client lists.
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

Requirements

• Property and Casualty (P&C) Licensed, desirable, or working toward it.
• Minimum of 2 years of insurance sales or customer service experience.
• Experience within an insurance agency, with knowledge of commercial trucking insurance coverages or personal auto, is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desired.
