Job Title: Industrial Painter
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F
Starting Pay Range: $22.00-$32.00 Temp to Hire Description: Seeking applicants for Industrial Painter position in a repetitive manufacturing shop environment.
Workers in this role will be expected to prepare surfaces through a variety of processes including shot
blasting, sanding, and tape masking. Workers will then ensure the high-quality completion of paint
operations on both component parts and assembled finished products.
Industrial Painter Duties: - Utilize rail fed continuous shot blaster to prep unpainted surfaces.
- Utilize pneumatic sander to prep parts for painting.
- Mask surfaces and components for painting.
- Utilize high-volume, low-pressure paint guns and pressure pots to apply primer coat and finished topcoats to component parts and assembled finished product.
- Clean and maintain all painting tools and equipment including sprayers, mixing containers, and mixing equipment to ensure proper working function.
- Wear and use proper personal protective gear and respirator.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience using paint guns.
- Experience using conventional paint guns.
- Experience using pressure pot.
- Experience working with epoxy paints.
- Experience working with polyurethane paints.
- Capable of lifting at least 75 lbs., and able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Submit to and pass a drug screening.
- Submit to and pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications: - Automotive Painting Experience.
