Responsibilities: • Answer incoming calls on product and service questions, customer complaints, and general customer inquiries • Keep customer satisfaction levels high by providing accurate information, resolving issues, and mitigating complaints • Identify common customer issues and bring them to the attention of the team • Contact Homeowners or Project Managers to set up repair appointments. • Order supplies, parts, and materials needed to complete warranty work orders. • Perform repairs listed on work orders. • Return completed work orders daily to the warranty office, noting any items that require follow-up. • Document any backcharges. • Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and supplies in good and safe condition at all times. • Apply all standards and procedures unless authorized by the warranty manager to make an exception. • Perform assigned repairs in model homes. • Participate in meetings and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Display strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills • Experience working in a customer-oriented atmosphere • High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent Position-Specific Standards: • Possess 3 or more years of related experience in the home building industry. • Establish and maintain communication with Customers and team members on a daily basis. • Have a valid driver’s license. • Have access to dependable transportation. • Competency in multiple software programs. • Competency in home repairs and residential construction.  • Be available for Company and Department meetings. Company-wide Standards: • All work will be performed according to company policies and standards inherent in all Job Defined agreements, system action plans, employee and compliance manuals, ongoing policy memoranda, and facilities and dress codes. • Client and company information will be held strictly confidential outside of the company. • Employees will provide staff assistance or be assigned to general office support as requested; each employee may be asked from time to time to cover other areas of accountability and/or departments. • All business communications, whether verbal, visual, or written, whether for internal or external use, will be professional in tone and content and according to any applicable and existing company policies and standards. • Employees will respect each other’s time, space, and need for concentration. Socializing, while a very important part of our culture, must not impede workflow. • Employees will have quarterly, regularly scheduled meetings with their manager. • Employees are encouraged to recommend ideas for the improvement of their department and position that are consistent with the Company’s Strategic Objective. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred but not required. • At least 3 years of professional experience in punchwork and residential home construction. Required Skills/Abilities: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills.  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies. • Effective time management skills and can thrive in a team environment. • Experience with construction software. • Proficient with technology and understanding of Microsoft Office applications & email.  • Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, and scheduling best practices.  Supervisory Responsibilities: None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to work up to 10 hours per day in a fast-paced environment.  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. • Periodic travel to job site neighborhoods will be necessary. • Travel to all markets will be required.  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and code seminars for continuing education. • Other travel may be necessary.  About Company: We Put Our People First!
