Grant Writer (Contractor) - REMOTE / Work From Home

• Position: Contracted Grant Writer Consultant
• Location: Remote
• Contract Duration: Ongoing, up to 20 hours per week (with potential for additional hours as needed)
• Compensation: $65 per hour, up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. The CEO may approve additional hours.

Position Purpose & Objectives:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grant Writer Consultant to support PARCA’s fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight, process implementation, and both short- and long-term planning. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching viable grant opportunities, writing and editing proposals and all follow-up reports for private and public funders, while coordinating content across departments.

Essential Functions:

Fundraising Strategy:

• Collaborate with the CEO and COO to determine agency funding priorities.
• Work closely with Program Managers to produce clear, measurable, and compelling program objectives and outcomes for grant proposals, reports, and updates.
• Help track individual donors and various fundraising appeals.

Relationship Building:

• Develop and foster relationships with government, foundation, and corporate grant-making staff.

Grant Proposals:

• Manage and execute the production of all grant proposals in coordination with the CEO, COO, and other development and program staff.
• Develop and coordinate an annual schedule of grant applications and proposals, including renewals and potential new sources of funding.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising within the non-profit sector.
• Strong knowledge of the non-profit field, preferably with some experience working with marginalized groups
• Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong relationship-building skills with funders and stakeholders.

Note: This is an independent contractor position. The contractor will perform services at their own location unless otherwise stated in the Scope of Work (SOW). Client will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred during the performance of services.
