Position Overview
This is a temporary position responsible for the overall SDV grant process including completing and submitting reports, budgets, and applications.
Essential Job Functions
Completes SDV grants reports, budgets, and applications in a timely manner including

VDSS DV ARPA

Goochland County SDV Grant
Communicates what data and case stories are needed from SDV and Case Management staff and provides them with sufficient time to gather information.
Maintains a timeline of grant reports and applications and keeps COO and team informed about deadlines.
Communicates with grant signatory (program administrator) to allow for sufficient time to get paperwork signed, as required by grant.
Accesses data from Vadata and Apricot.
Responds to grant monitors in a timely manner.
Completes Civil Rights training annually.
Requirements
3-5 years' experience writing applications and reports and developing and tracking budgets for government SDV grants.
Understanding of sexual and domestic violence services.
Experience working with a team to complete projects.
Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive matters in dealing with clients and staff, with a trauma-informed care approach.
Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills displaying a caring, tactful, diplomatic, and respectful attitude towards staff, volunteers, and clients.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and schedules.
Ability to multi-task, have strong attention to detail, and manage different priorities while understanding the big picture.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
Strong self-awareness and willingness to seek assistance when needed.

Must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with government grant reports, budgets, and applications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, specifically Excel.
Ability to learn new software programs/databases including VAdata and Apricot.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, typing, talking, lifting, and driving.
