Global Chief Information Officer, US Are you passionate about leading our strategy and execution for technology and operations? This role will be based in the US with hybrid work flexibility, which means you’ll be assigned to an Aon office and given the flexibility to work remotely. The team is made up of high-performing individuals that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. You will report directly to the Global Chief Operating Officer. The Global Chief Information Officer is responsible for leading technology and operations across 120 countries globally. This role involves the development and implementation of IT initiatives across end-user/colleague experience, core applications, and infrastructure aligned to Aon’s business strategy, enabling growth, ensuring the security, resiliency, and efficiency of technology systems, leading operating expense and capital investments, and driving innovation to maintain a competitive edge. What the day will look like Develop and execute the global technology strategy in partnership with the Chief Product & Technology Officer in alignment with the company's overall strategy. Establish and implement technology policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Apply digital transformation initiatives to support growth and improve operational efficiency. Be responsible for the selection, implementation, and maintenance of technology systems and infrastructure. Develop and lead the technology budget, ensuring strategic sourcing and cost-effective use of resources. Be a phenomenal partner with technology vendors and service providers. Lead experience strategy for 60,000 colleagues globally. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing technology team. Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business needs and provide tech solutions for success. Stay connected externally to be informed about technology trends and standard methodologies. Skills and experience that will lead to success Ability to develop and execute long-term technology strategies that align with business goals. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a broad technology team. Extensive understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and innovative technologies. Experience in driving digital transformation and cultivating a culture of innovation. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in running large-scale IT programs and initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Extensive experience in a senior IT leadership role. Experience in leading integrated applications architecture. Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position is $350,000 - $420,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities.
