Keiser University's Graduate School is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join the growing Graduate Admissions team! Keiser University is one of the largest private, non-profit Universities in the state of Florida. Graduate School programs include more than 45 online and hybrid Certificate, Master's and Doctoral Degrees.
The primary job function will be to serve as point of contact for incoming call reception for Graduate School inquiries for our online Graduate School division followed by secondary administrative functions to support the processing and enrollment of prospective graduate students through the admissions lifecycle.
As the Front Desk Receptionist for Graduate School, functions may include but are not limited to: - Serve as the primary receptionist and customer service representative for Graduate School in answering the telephones and facilitating warm call transfer solutions to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Notate telephone and in-person message and forward to appropriate recipient and update CRM/SIS as appropriate.
- Greet all visitors, in person and/or virtually, in a cordial and professional manner.
- Maintain a comfortable, organized workspace.
- Interact with other departments on campus as the job warrants.
- Compile and upload admission documents into school docs or other systems as applicable.
- Assist the ADOA(s) and DOA with inquiry assignment based on existing workflow processes.
- Work closely with the admission counselors and admission program coordinators to support the processing and enrollment of prospective graduate students through the admissions lifecycle from inquiry to the start of classes.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This position must have a high school diploma/GED, preferably an associate degree and one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with CRM/SIS/LMS systems is a plus. Successful candidates will have customer service and fast-paced switchboard experience. Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekend availability, be organized, can multitask, a positive attitude!
