STS Staffing is assisting our client in hiring a dedicated Fabric Retail Operations Manager for their upscale fabric store. This role is crucial for overseeing both the operational and sales aspects of the store, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of retail management expertise and a deep understanding of fabric and sewing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily store operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and merchandising
• Drive sales performance by setting goals, analyzing metrics, and implementing strategies to exceed targets
• Provide leadership and training to sales associates, focusing on customer service excellence and product knowledge
• Oversee the scheduling, hiring, and development of staff, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and performance
• Maintain a visually appealing store layout and presentation, reflecting the store’s high-end brand
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational standards
• Collaborate with upper management to develop and execute promotional and marketing strategies
• Provide expert advice on fabric selection and sewing techniques to customers and staff

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail management, with a focus on high-end or luxury retail environments preferred
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales metrics, inventory management, and staff training
• Knowledge and experience in fabric and sewing are highly desirable
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Additional Information:

• This is a direct hire opportunity with our client, not a temporary placement.
• Competitive hourly pay rate of $20-$26, based on experience.
