Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Export Specialist with experience in export documentation and a strong understanding of international shipping and transportation logistics. Initially, this position is fully remote due to the transition to a new office location. Once the new office is operational, this will become a Hybrid role (2 days in-office, 3 days remote). The successful candidate will have a solid background in U.S. Export regulations, Incoterms, and the export documentation process.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Documentation:

Generate and manage all required export documents, ensuring compliance with U.S. Export regulations.

Regulatory Knowledge:

Stay updated on all applicable U.S. Export regulations and Incoterms to ensure compliance across shipments.

Shipping & Logistics:

Oversee the domestic and international shipping and transportation processes to ensure timely delivery and adherence to regulations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, vendors, and shipping carriers to manage export operations smoothly.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least four years of office experience in International Business or related fields.
• Previous Import/Export experience is required.

Regulatory & Process Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of U.S. Export regulations and Incoterms.
• In-depth knowledge of domestic and international shipping and logistics processes.

Language Skills (Preferred):

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Remote Work:

• Fully remote initially. Once the new office location is identified, the position will transition to a Hybrid model (2 days in-office, 3 days remote).
