Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Construction Manager Job Description Manage and oversee small retail/commercial remodel projects, ensuring all activities and operations comply with safety standards and project specifications. Daily responsibilities include creating project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, documenting activities, and reporting through project management software. You will also handle submittals, change orders, RFIs, and other related documents, read blueprints and site layouts, propose bids, and determine project costs. Additionally, you will attend client meetings, coordinate onsite with clients, and ensure daily job-site clean-up and security.
Hard Skills - Construction Management experience
- Experience with carpentry, interiors, labor work

Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Mokena, Illinois.
Work Environment The role primarily involves working on-site/in the field, supporting projects ranging from $10,000 to $1,000,000 for high-profile clients. Expect to work occasional night shifts, weekends, and 40-55 hours per week. After about a year and based on performance, there may be opportunities to work on larger day-time projects.
