Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and energetic DJ/MC to join our team. As a DJ you will be responsible for curating and delivering exceptional music sets, creating a lively atmosphere, and ensuring a memorable entertainment experience for our clients and their guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, excellent public speaking skills, and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Curate and mix music sets tailored to the preferences of clients and their guests.
- Emcee events, including making announcements and facilitating transitions between different parts of the event.
- Interact with clients to understand their musical preferences and event requirements.
- Set up and operate DJ equipment, including sound systems, microphones, and lighting.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ensure the smooth flow of events and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Stay updated on music trends and popular tracks to keep performances fresh and engaging.
- Provide outstanding customer service and exceed client expectations.
Requirements:
- Experience in the entertainment, wedding and/or music industry.
- Extensive knowledge of various music genres and the ability to create diverse playlists.
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating DJ equipment and software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable transportation to travel to event venues, this includes the ability to bring equipment with you.
- A passion for music and a commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment experiences.
