About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Risk Officer to join their executive team and play a pivotal role in the ongoing business enhancement program. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of a world-class risk culture, implementing an enhanced risk and governance system, and identifying business enhancement activities to improve procedures, systems, and overall performance. This role is key to the company's commitment to delivering value and growth, and the Chief Risk Officer will also lead the core functions of risk, governance, and compliance, and engage with key stakeholders to ensure the company's financial and operational resilience. To be considered for this career-defining opportunity, candidates must be commercially pragmatic, proven strategic leaders with extensive experience in financial markets and/or insurance industries. The role requires a leader with a strong background in business enhancement, change management, and capability building, and the ability to inspire and support a positive culture. The Chief Risk Officer will also be involved in the company's contributions to the Risk and Performance Committee and Advisory Board, making it essential for the candidate to have excellent written communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide-ranging audience across the private and public sectors. This is a critical function for the state, and the role offers the chance to leverage institutional and financial markets knowledge, enterprise risk expertise, and executive leadership to support the company's mission.
