About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Asset Management Officer to join their dynamic and entrepreneurial team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing the organization's presence in Australia and will be at the forefront of managing a portfolio of strategic investments in the power sector. Key responsibilities for this role include leading the asset management function, supporting the CEO in performance analysis, and contributing personal insights to problem-solving and process improvements. The Chief Asset Management Officer will also be responsible for structuring and managing energy assets, proactively seeking new partnering opportunities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the Australian renewables market. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a relevant field such as applied engineering, mathematics, economics, or business, with a specialization in asset management, and a minimum of 10-15 years' experience, with at least 7 years in a role with similar contributions, preferably in the power and infrastructure sector. Advanced knowledge of PPA structuring and pricing, as well as experience in regulatory tracking, compliance monitoring, and reporting, are essential. The role requires a professional who can work both independently and as part of a team, with a detail-oriented approach, and is adept at managing large-scale corporate processes and business models. The Chief Asset Management Officer will also be expected to have the ability to understand and forecast complex problems, and to communicate with certainty and clarity, particularly in the face of organizational change.
