Job Description

We are a well-established Title Insurance company looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to guide our continued growth. Our ideal candidate will have the unique ability to oversee the full spectrum of the business—from underwriting to sales—ensuring both operational success and revenue growth.

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be responsible for leading the company in all strategic, operational, and business development efforts. Your experience in title insurance, including both the underwriting and sales aspects, will be key to driving sustainable growth. You will manage relationships with clients, underwriters, and regulatory bodies while also overseeing business development, operations, and overall profitability. This role requires a seasoned professional with the ability to close deals, manage underwriting , and steer the company toward continued success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement business strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.
  • Business Development : Drive revenue growth by overseeing and participating in the sales process, including deal negotiation, client management, and contract execution.
  • Operational Management : Oversee day-to-day operations, including underwriting, legal, compliance, and claims, ensuring all processes are efficient and within industry standards.
  • Financial Oversight : Manage financial performance, including budgets, P&L statements, and forecasts. Ensure profitability and make decisions based on financial analysis and market trends.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a diverse team across sales, underwriting, operations, and customer service, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work culture.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and continued partnerships.
  • Market Analysis : Stay ahead of industry trends, and competition, and identify potential business opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure the company adheres to state and federal regulations and industry standards, including managing risk related to underwriting and claims.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience : 10-15 years of experience in the title insurance industry, with deep expertise in both underwriting and sales. Previous experience as a VP of Sales, Underwriter, or in a senior leadership role within a title insurance firm is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge : In-depth understanding of title insurance processes, regulations, underwriting standards, and sales strategies.
  • Leadership : Proven experience leading teams and driving business success within the title insurance space.
  • Closing & Negotiation Skills : Strong deal-closing abilities, with the ability to drive sales and ensure profitable outcomes while also understanding the nuances of underwriting.
  • Business Acumen : Strong strategic thinker with the ability to balance operational and financial priorities to meet the company’s goals.
  • Communication : Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to represent the company in high-level discussions with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary : $125,000 - $150,000 per year
  • Commission : Competitive commission structure tied to company revenue and deal closures
