Job Description: Our client is searching for two experienced Business Continuity Consultants to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of knowledge and understanding of key Business Continuity Management (BCM) methodologies, strategies, and tactics. The person will be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a dynamic team environment and support (and in some cases lead) the delivery of BCM services across a variety of industries. Our client is looking for a self-starter who can project-manage an engagement with minimal supervision. The key to this person’s responsibilities will be to ensure the clients’ expectations are consistently met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Foster credibility with clients and colleagues; be recognized as an effective problem solver.
• Use tools, templates provided by as required.
• Deliver quality BCM and risk products and services to clients.
• Ensure work product consistently meets expectations for timeliness and accuracy.
• As appropriate, establish and maintain solid relationships with internal Company Global Risk Consulting leadership and individual decision-makers for client accounts.
• Use Company resources wisely and in a cost-effect manner.
• Work with Company *** Resilient Solutions Business Continuity Management (BCM) Consulting Team to:
o Provide input into Engagement Proposals for BCM services
o Develop, implement, and administer strategies, project plans, policies, techniques, and services for clients.
o Maintain adherence to Engagement scope and allocated consulting hours.
o Provide project feedback to project manager.
In performing/facilitating direct BCM services to clients:
• Lead and/or participate as a Team Member on all facets of BCM consulting.
• Develop reasonable and actionable Project Plans for BCM Engagements.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify, assess, quantify, and rate areas of risk.
• Develop general and tactical plans for:
o emergency response/life safety programming,
o crisis management & crisis communications
o business unit continuity
o Supply chain agility
o information technology disaster recovery (as related to Business Unit Continuity)
• Develop exercise and training activities for key client personnel in their roles during response and recovery activities.
• As necessary per, a specific Engagement, recommend controls and monitor the effectiveness of the controls after BCM implementation.
• Ability to interface with other SME’s in related and unrelated consulting resources to fulfil contract, RFP and/or proposal requirements
• Develop governance policies and procedures for long-term maintenance (including exercising) of BCM strategies, plans, & programming based on industry best practices and standards.
Overall Requirements:
• BA or BS Degree. Post Graduate degree a plus.
• Business Continuity certification (BCI or DRII) is preferred. CISSP is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressively challenging emergency response, business continuity, and/or disaster recovery planning experience across a number of industries and geographies.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 1600 and ISO 22301 (as relates to BCM)
• Conversant in leading BCM-oriented software packages and Emergency Notification Systems tools.
• Advanced user – Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
• Ability to analyze and comprehend complex data and processes, identify gaps and regularly report on resolutions.
• Excellent relationship building/collaboration skills across a number of audiences (internal & external).
• Strong project management and oral communications and skills.
• Ability to author custom reports that clearly communicate findings and methodologies with minimal management supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% - domestic and international (when they convert to FTE). Valid and active Passport Required. The successful candidate must be located ideally within 50 miles of a major US airport.

• Ability to engage right away to be part of a startup team
• Ability to work both remotely and at clients’ sites
• Experience with Fusion - data gathering tool is a plus
