Job Summary
We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will prepare a variety of cookies and pastries. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious cookies and pastries. If you are creative, hardworking, and want to share your tasty creations with customers, wed like to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
• Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
• stay updated on current baking trends to incorporate into new creations
• adjust recipes for large-scale production while maintaining consistency in flavor and appearance
• Bake a variety of cookies, brownies, and pastries
• maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Prepare custom orders
• work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations during product launches
• Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
• strong understanding of various baking techniques and ingredients
• excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Familiarity with gluten-free, vegan or other specialty baking styles
• Previous experience in product development
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Team player
• Available for early morning shifts

Immediate raises are based on work performance. $18.00 is our probation period trial amount.
