Salary: $100,000 - $140,000

Status: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Hybrid, 1-2 Days a week onsite in Reston VA

• Plans, designs, and implements infrastructure changes and system upgrades.
• Deep understanding/experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle cloud)
• Experience with Azure Cloud infrastructure and its services
• Experience with cloud migration strategies (Cloud Native, Lift & Shift)
• Experience with Windows Server, Load Balancers, Networking, and complex Cloud Native solutions
• Good understanding of Azure Cloud platform and its services – including but not limited to: App Services, Azure Data Lake, Azure Container Service, Azure Environment
• Provides Windows Server administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience as a Windows Server Engineer, preferably within a DISA or government contracting environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) and related technologies, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Creates STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.
• Creates, tests, and deploys software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.
• Provides advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.
• Provides expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel.
• Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.
• Utilizes scripting to automate common tasks.
• Performs hardware maintenance/repair activities.
• Ensures proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.

Required Clearance: IRS MBI

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.
• This position requires a person with knowledge of automated provisioning mechanism to provision multiple cloud service provider’s servers including Azure and AWS Windows and Linux AMIs
• Deep understanding/experience in Cloud technologies (AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle cloud)
• A successful candidate should have extensive scripting knowledge and capabilities specifically related to PowerShell, Power-CLI, JavaScript, Python, Perl Scripts, and Bash Shell scripting
• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO).
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
